Our Mission Statement
Focused on Making Teenage Diciples
Love God, Love Others, Serve All
"Love God" takes place on Wednesday nights, "Love Others" occurs in our small groups and "Serve all" happens when everyone is following Christ's commandment to, "love others as you love yourself".
Our Youth Ministry is called "FOCUS", derived from Hebrews 12:1-2.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hands and Feet of Christ
Our theme for 2008 and 2009 is to be the hands and feet of Christ. We feel like our youth group needs to take serious Jesus' call to minister to the "least of these". We have spent so much of our time planning fun events that we have neglected to emphasize giving to others and service to our community. On Wednesday we are starting to emphasize giving so that we can sponsor more children. Once a month we are doing a community service project and we are urging our small groups to adopt their own service oriented project. We feel this is the direction God is leading us and I'm excited about this school year.
