The Nehemiah Project

Our Bible study group helped with The Nehemiah Project this past Saturday. We gather food and clothing and donated to the Project. We gathered Saturday morning and traveled to three locations bagging and distributing food and clothing. We prayed for the people at each location. We also had the opportunity to minister to children through coloring and playing soccer.

Naz sports

Set up all the fields that the kids played on. Then did the video taping for the awards. Then tore down the fields after the games. It feels so good to be doing this on a weekly basis to help our wonderful sports department.

Trials and Tribulations

Since this Sunday, October 30th will be our families last attending service before we move, I wanted to share with you and the church what love and compassion our family has received from our home church, Visalia Naz. I created a short but sweet video of how I see God's work in our lives through our daughters.... Please enjoy the video, hopefully it works. Thank you so much church family for ALL your love and support!!!!!

Instead of thinking of himself, he thought about all of the other children and raised over 1,000 pillow pets to give to all of them. I felt, if a 9 year old boy can do it, then I can to. I collected almost 100 pillow pets with the ... Read on ...

Neighborhood Angel

Recently my mother who lives in Oregon was diagnosed with a rare aggressive form of liver cancer. We had both lost our jobs last spring so, we had no money to go see my mom. Our neighbor Lisa has been my "go to" person since we moved, someone you can count on. When I told her how critical my mom's condition was she prayed with me and then unbeknownst to us went to all the neighbors and collected money so I could go see my mom. What a ... Read on ...

Getting the help we needed

I have a few people to praise for helping me in my time of need. The first person is Ellen Woitalla. She has stepped up before my first surgery and has offered to pay my bills for us while I'm recovering. Every bill, every month, until I get back to work. (That is approx $100 monthly.) Ellen had even helped buy my first month of medical supplies for my daily bandage change. The second person is Diane Barnes. She had stepped up when I ... Read on ...
